Haha, thanks. As a fellow Four Thirds user, I'm sure you fully understand the merits of additional investment in quality Zuiko or Leica glass. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've been saving up to get the Summilux for awhile now, and so far I really like the results. The bright aperture is a real bonus especially since I'm still using the non-IS E-410, and so far, I'm very pleased with the sharpness. It was expensive, but I highly recommend it.
Of course, Leica Summilux 25 is the king of all prime lenses for 4/3! And yeah, it's 2x the brightness of my 14-54 & 50-200! Wow! I bet the viewfinder is bright as well!

The Leica Summilux 25 is great, but I'll be a little upset if Olympus announces next month that it will be producing a fast normal Zuiko with similar quality at half the price! However, that said, I would love for Olympus to produce some nice prime lenses for 4/3. For instance, I think a 10mm f2.8, 20mm f1.4, and a 43mm f1.8 would be a good start ... what do you think?
