SASKATOON, CANADA. (December 2007). Taking a few test shots with the latest acquisition in my lens lineup, a retro OM Zuiko 50mm f1.8, which is a throwback from the Olympus OM-System film cameras of the 1970s and 80s. Definitely still learning how to use the new lens, but so far I like the results - I think it'll work nicely in low-light, portrait situations. Not bad for only $35. The above picture was shot wide open with no post-processing applied. Original photo properties: Olympus E-410 dSLR, OM Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f1.8 lens (100mm, 35mm equivalent), handheld, manual focus and exposure, matrix metering, 1/25s f1.8, ISO 400, 3648 x 2736 pixels, RAW.
