EDMONTON, CANADA. (May 2011). Portrait of a cheetah. Also, it's a first try using Impossible Project Silver Shade film. There's a prominent crack and numerous spots in the photo, but I think it adds to the analog character of the shot. Permanent photo link here. Original photo properties: Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Model 2 with fixed 116mm f8 glass lens, Impossible PX 100 Silver Shade film (ISO / ASA 150), handheld, manual focus, JPEG scanned from instant print.

EDMONTON, CANADA. (January 2011). In 2011, the bear is still king :) ... and the love affair with instant cameras continues. Is the Fujifilm Instax 210 instant camera the modern-day Polaroid? Purists balk that Fuji's Instax film is almost too good and, therefore, lacks soul. I tend to disagree - the fun, heart, and instant gratification of seeing a photo develop right before your eyes certainly aren't lost on these new Fujis, and this is what matters. Permanent photo link here. Original photo properties: Fujifilm Instax 210 instant camera with Fujinon 95mm f14 lens, Fuji Instax Wide film (ISO / ASA 800), close-up lens attached, built-in flash diffused with Charmin toilet paper(!), handheld, zone focused, JPEG scanned from instant print.
